  • Acclimatization: Addis sits at 2,355 meters (7,726 ft). Take it easy on your first day, drink plenty of water, and consider a gentle tour like Entoto to adjust.

  • Getting AroundPrivate transport is highly recommended for efficiency and comfort. We include this in all our tours.

  • Cultural Tips: When visiting churches, modest dress (covering shoulders and knees) is required. At the National Museum, flash photography is not allowed in the Lucy exhibit.

  • Cuisine: Addis is the best place to enjoy a traditional “coffee ceremony” and a wide variety of Ethiopian cuisine in excellent restaurants. We’ll make sure you don’t miss this.
